Body Lotion Peer Review

Who doesn’t love a good smelling body lotion? I mean, not only does it leave you with soft skin, but it also smells amazing! One of my personal favorite Zoey Koko products is the Stargazer Body Lotion.

This lotion makes your skin feel soft and smooth but also makes it smell incredible. It smells super sweet, like flowers and fruits and gives total mid-summer vibes! It’s also the prettiest mix of dark purple, dark pink and light pink which personally reminds me of super awesome galaxies, as the name ‘Stargazer’ suggests. It’s definitely better for those of you who prefer sweeter smells, like me!

A small concern of mine before first using this product was if it was going to leave a purple tint on my skin, as it is really pigmented, but guess what?  It didn’t leave a single bit of color! Also, as someone who suffers from eczema, I was worried about a flare-up, but it didn’t irritate my skin at all. No spots, no rashes, no dry skin, nothing!  It smells great, looks great and is perfect for my skin-sensitive skin. The best part is you only need a small amount of the lotion meaning the product lasts you a solid while. 

I love layering this product with some more of the sweeter smelling Zoey Koko products, like the Cotton Candy Bio Glitter Body Mist, which leaves a little bit of shimmer on the skin. 

For those of you who don’t like super sweet smells, another really amazing lotion from Zoey Koko is Zoeys Comet. The smell reminds me of pink lemonade, which is good for those of you who don’t want an overpowering scent but still leaves you with a hint of sweetness. It’s a really cute mix of pastel pink, pastel purple and pastel green (or blue, depending on how you see it!) This lotion is also great for my sensitive skin and leaves it feeling buttery smooth.

A couple of times a week I’ll use the Zoey Koko body scrubs in the shower to exfoliate my skin and then I’ll layer the lotion on my skin to lock in the moisture.  Also, it’s important to mention that the smell of these lotions lasts you practically all day!  If you’re looking for a thicker lotion,  Zoey Koko’s body butters would be worth checking out, but I love the lotions as I can pump the product right on my skin.
